Leaving.

Tonight, the journey begins.

My two-month trip home to Sydney, Australia.

I'm excited, but saying goodbye to B will be hard. Last night we met some close friends for a farewell drink (I got a lovely little card!) and then B and I headed over to the best place for Chinese food in Happy Valley: the wonderful Pang's Kitchen.

Then, when we came home, this:

No, this is NOT an engagement ring! I repeat: I am NOT engaged! :-)

It's a promise ring... something to wear on my right hand while I am in Sydney to know, always, that I am his.

B bought it sneakily awhile back and carried it around for a week to make sure it would become soaked in his energy.

I love his energy. He's a spiritual little thang.

Swooon. The ring is helping already.

Farewell Hong Kong friends and family... I'll miss you.
