Chris Isaak. Oh my.

Better run and fetch some tissues folks... I'm about to gush.

So part of being back at my old job means I get to interview celebrities.

So far, the schedule is looking a bit like Avril Lavigne, Cyndi Lauper, some British comedy stars, a WWE wrestler, one of the guys from Jackass and the world's most famous opera singer.

Oh and Chris Isaak.

The name just rollllls off the tongue, doesn't it. Chris Isaak.

The reason I am swoonish over Mr Isaak is pretty much because of this below video. So, please check it out if you need any convincing that Mr Isaak is a thousand shades of hawt.

Right. Pretty darn tootin' hot, huh? No, not Helena Christensen, Chris Isaak. Alright, her too.

I have interviewed Chris before; in fact, he was the first celebrity I interviewed when I was auditioning for Sky News around five years ago. I am much better at interviewing now.

I don't find Chris Isaak that good looking. Although, incidentally, the airbrushed-within-an-inch-of-perfection Brad Pitt types were never really my type anyway.

But, I concede, Chris Isaak is not really, really ridiculously good looking. But he is really, really ridiculously sexy.

In person he is warm, generous, a great listener and hilarious. In fact, as I watched the interview back today I wanted to reach into the screen and slap myself as I loudly giggled and laughed over some of his answers.

He's also a huge flirt... I told him I loved the song Wicked Game, so he played it for me on his guitar and inserted the name "Natalie" now and then into the lyrics as he crooned and looked at me with his electric blue eyes.

I mean, really, Chris? You are going to do that to me? ... Gah. Jelly legs.

He also eyeballed me and said things like, "I'm feeling magic between us..." and, although it was just a line, that didn't take take away from the impact.

Of course, Chris Isaak is much more than a sexy bloke. He's enormously talented, in love with his job, genuinely appreciative of his fans and success, and incredibly kind to the media (sadly, a rarity).

It's always an honour to interview you, Mr Isaak. Picking myself off the floor now and regaining some level of dignity.

Gah.
