I like photoshoots. Not.

And occasionally I have to do them for my job.

Even though it might not look like it, behind all the smiles and relaxed poses in these shots was an uncomfortable, self conscious, and mostly bored-out-of-her-brain girl.

Smiling on cue is really hard work. I need motivation like a Ricky Gervais movie or an episode of Fawlty Towers.

Models? I salute you... you clearly don't have any ants in those cute pants of yours and possess a tolerance for sitting still and beaming for hours on end that I just don't have.

Oh and there's someone else I must salute in this post: my amazingly talented step-dad Thom, who took these photos while copping my whining, wriggling and impatience. No easy task. Onya Thom.
